Japan, 1960s. A bedridden young girl decides to spend her last moments in a secluded forest. Her terminal illness isn’t the only struggle, physically and mentally — the family footman happens to be an unwanted pursuer. Against all odds, a new light of life begins to shine on her fate when a strange spirit visits her house one night.
