A seemingly random murder of a journalist opens up the buried past of another murder — more specifically, of an infanticide committed by a pair of teenage parents. Three family, each grappling with life, death, parenthood, and (un)just, collides at eerie Aokigahara Forest at the foot of Mountain Fuji.
